Did you know you should change your toothbrush after about 3 months as they get worn out and are not as effective as they once were? You should also rinse your toothbrush after every use in hot water as bacteria can harbour in the bristles!

[good dental health]
Maintaining healthy teeth and gums is easy! Simply brushing twice a day, flossing daily and eating a good balanced diet are the key factors and will help you maintain healthy teeth and gums!

Need a new crown?
designed, made and fitted in just one hour!

If, like many people, you've lost a crown, you'll want to have it replaced as soon as possible! But with traditional dental practices you'll not only need to arrange a visit to have an injection, the tooth cleaned and a temporary crown fitted, you'll also have to come back a week later to have the temporary filling removed and the tooth cleaned again prior to having your new crown fitted.

At TG's Dental Suite we offer you a solution to the repeated appointments and time off work!

Introducing CEREC 3D, a revolutionary piece of equipment designed specifically for dental use allowing us to economically restore your damaged teeth in a single appointment using a ceramic material that matches the natural colour of your other teeth.

How does CEREC work?
CEREC 3D uses CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine in one instrument. The dentist uses a special camera to take an accurate picture of the damaged tooth. This optical impression is transferred and displayed on a colour computer screen, where the dentist uses CAD technology to design the replacement crown. Once the new tooth has been designed, the process is passed over to the milling machine that will in turn create the new tooth from a ceramic blank, colour matched to blend in with your existing teeth. Finally, your dentist will bond the new tooth to the surface of the old tooth. The whole process takes about one hour.

Advantages Of CEREC 3D

  • Only one appointment required
  • No moulds or impressions needed
  • Colour matched ceramic
  • Save more of the healthy tooth
  • Resistant to plaque and decay
  • All done in one hour!!

What does this mean to you?
A tooth-coloured restoration means no more silver fillings discolouring your smile. The filling is natural-looking, compatible with tissue in the mouth, anti-abrasive and plaque resistant. Your dentist no longer needs to create temporary fillings or take impressions and send them off to a lab to have the new tooth created. Because of this, the traditional second visit has been eliminated - saving you time and money!

CEREC 3D has over a decade of clinical research and documentation to support the technology. The restorations have been proven to be precise, safe and effective.
