NHS Dental Care At TG's dental suite our dentists, dental nurses, dental hygienists and reception staff will always aim to provide a high standard of care and service for all our patients, whether they be receiving NHS or private dental treatment. We have agreed with Northamptonshire PCT (Primary Care Trust) to provide NHS services for our exempt patients and children. NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to maintain and secure your oral health. We also provide a full range of private treatment options for patients who choose to have treatment that is not available under the NHS. You will find a poster in the reception area of the clinic detailing the costs associated with NHS treatment and your dentist will be able to advise you of the cost of any private treatment.
NHS Treatment For Children Children are born free of dental disease, yet by adulthood 95% of the population has active gum disease and most people have experienced some tooth decay and even tooth loss! It is our belief that this disease can be prevented. Our aim is to provide your child with the best dental care available to secure their dental health. We ask parents to register their children from birth so that we can see them twice a year on the NHS to help them grow up free from dental disease. However, if they do need treatment, we can offer them alternatives* not generally available on the NHS, such as mercury-free white fillings. *To the children of members of our Dental Care Plans we can offer these alternatives on the same terms as their parents. |
