Tooth whitening is typically done prior to having other restorative dental work carried out, this is due to the fact that any new dental implants, porcelain crowns or veneers will not need to be whitened as they will be colour matched to your existing teeth which will be between 6 and 9 shades lighter than before the whitening process began.

Like with many dental procedures, some patients may experience some tooth sensitivity during treatment. This is normal and this extra sensitivity is only temporary, it will quickly resolve once treatment is finished.
